Somehow, I think I'm pulling out of yesterday's slump. Things are looking much better today, and so I celebrate with a translation of a beautiful Vocaloid song, "Just Be Friends".

IDK it's my first time to be tipsy, I think. It's my uncle's birthday party and there were bottles of alcohol on the table: Bailey's, strawberry margarita and other stuff, and my cousins and I got to try some out.

The margarita was okay, but it's too much work to take the salt before sipping or whatever. Bailey's has this horrible taste going down, but there's a nice aftertaste that's fun so I ended up drinking most of the glass that I shared with my cousins.

I've never been tipsy before. I've always disliked the taste of alcohol, especially Red Horse, man, that stuff tastes like rotten vomit and peanuts totally don't help at all ew, but it seemed okay to try out tonight since I can't really get to work on my Psych 115 homework because I'm not at the library and you can't take the theses and stuff out so we have to stay there while taking notes and I don't wanna pass out in a pile of books and have my picture taken like that :(

I feel happy. Not even seeing Alodia make #87 on FHM could bring me down! Though seeing that article on GMA having her breast implants replaced probably added to it. I like the way her press secretary was all like, "Does the President look like the kind of woman who would do that?" and then later he was like, "Yes, she does, but they're ttly not leaking okay?"

They're like not obvious at all. Was she flat like an ironing board before? Did she think it would boost her career lol?

Also, Willie Revilliame's gonna get his own mall or something. WTF you're already rolling in cash, dude, you don't need more.

Who am I kidding, I wanna be rich. :(

Finally done with the first week of classes. Finally. Hruu just a few days in, and I'm already starting to feel the strain. I hope I didn't happen to bite more off than I can chew. ;_;

I'm really glad to know a bunch of fellow Psych majors in Psych 115 (Experimental Psychology), including meicdon13, so I guess it's just the potential workload to be worried about. Psych 155 (Abnormal Psychology!), I'm definitely looking forward to. Ma'am Rosel is so awesome, and the topics sound so very very interesting.

Chem 16 (General Chemistry) is looking to be kind of okay, I guess, once I get around to memorizing the compounds and oxidation numbers and such and stop panicking over possibly breaking the lab equipment. Kas 100 (World Civilizations) is pretty lulz, though I'm looking forward to the actual discussions, and I'm classmates with lovenaught~ Math 14 (College Trigonometry) ... The teacher seems nice enough, and I'm really really hoping I do well this time. ;~;

Body's still adjusting to the new schedules. There's suddenly a lot of work to be done, and it looks like this weekend will definitely be a busy one. Between organization and academic obligations, I hope I'll still be able to make room for a bit of writing and assorted want-to-do things~

Figures that just when school is about to start do I finally get used to summer vacation. It'll be hard adjusting to a new sleeping schedule and forcing myself to wake up at ... urgh, four to five in the morning. x______x

Anyway, since I didn't get to attend Toycon, I finally got around to finishing part one of the Moira Concert Screencap Series! \o/

Finally back on my own computer! For some reason, Phoenix stopped working a few days ago - everytime I'd switch him on, the CPU would start up and everything, but the monitor couldn't receive any signal. wigiboy suggested checking the video card, and undyingfenix came over to help check it out.

I think, somehow, the video card came loose or something. The next day, undyingfenix popped it back in, and it worked fine. I might have to buy a new one soon, though. And more RAM. I've been meaning to buy more RAM for a while now, too. But I finally got my new combo drive installed, so I can finally burn DVDs, yay~

School still hasn't started. There's a possibility that it might be extended, too, seeing as there are already three cases of A(H1N1) in Ateneo. There are also rumors that a case was confirmed in SM Megamall, too (LOL TOYCON), though the news reports haven't said anything, yet. Here's to hoping it won't reach community level. x_x

Oh, and this morning ... Uh, well, a couple of weeks ago, my cousin bought a couple of bunnies: a white one and a black one. Unfortunately, the barricade was too low, and Peach managed to get in and bite the black one. The white one managed to hide, but its companion died.

A week later, Kuya Jan bought three bunnies: another white one, a dark brown one and a light brown one. They were so cute, hopping around and eating lettuce leaves and the like. I couldn't think up any names for them, but they were adorable and fuzzy and sweet-natured.

This morning, I went around back to check on them. When I looked into their shelter, I only found a white one and the dark brown one. I played with them a little, and then went back inside to ask Ate Dincel where the other two were. Perhaps taking a bath or something?

She said that George, a dog from the compound we used to live in, was brought over a few days ago. Being a full-sized dog, he had no problem leaping over the barricade and chasing after the rabbits. Long story short, one of the white ones and the light brown one are gone.

FML. I didn't even get to name them. ;________;

Once again, everyone's most hated system screws us all over again.

This time, however, it's employed a horrendously wicked system that makes you happy for a short while and then takes it all away.

I checked CRS earlier to see the results from the second pre-enlistment round. To my unbelievable joy (I even did the whole jump-on-your-bed-out-of-happiness thing), I got a different Chem 16 schedule, one that allowed for one break, and a Math 14 schedule pushed later in the afternoon as well as Kas 100.

I was so, so, so happy. Like you wouldn't believe.

And then, just now, this shows up on the CRS page:

Due to some technical problems, the results of the 2nd batch run have been invalidated and the results of the first batch run will be restored. Because of the timing of the printing of Form 5As, there may be inconsistencies between the enlisted subjects that appear in the printed Form 5As and those in the online accounts. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ONLINE RESULTS FROM THE FIRST RUN ARE THE VALID ONES. Students are requested to manually correct their Form 5As as soon as they receive them. In the meantime, CRS will be inaccessible to students while the technical problems are being resolved. Please check this site for further announcements. Thank you very much.

After assessing the invalidated results of the second batch run, a new batch run was performed to maximize the number of slots that could be granted to students. The new second batch run results are now available in CRS.

Well, almost there. Just one more paper to pass to my professor, and summer classes are officially over!

All things considered (lack of a proper lunch break, running from the fifth floor of CAL to the second floor of AS, etc.), I kinda miss my summer classes. I'm both glad that I chose to take the classes that I did, and a bit regretful that I couldn't have taken them during a regular semester, if only to lengthen the time allowed for gaining knowledge.

Aaaand those were basically the two classes I took this summer. It's ridiculous how much I miss them. x_x

Went to May-Ann's debut yesterday! Late by an hour, hax. But got there in time for the food her entrance number and the 18 Tulips, yay! Ended up being part of the 18 Balloons, where we'd either have to say something positive about the debutante, something negative, or do a 'consequence' based on which balloon we picked. hax. Should've done that at mine.

I kind of wish I'd gotten to stay long enough to dance "Single Ladies".

In fandom-related news, I finally got around to posting a new set of icons after months of delay, and I finally finished my 30_kisses challenge! After two years! ;A; *feels like a proud mommy*

I hope to continue being productive during the remaining summer time (which is, like, only two weeks or so before enrollment OH SUMMER WHERE DID YOU GO). Interestingly, summer hasn't really lived up to its name weather-wise. Only lately is the sun starting to shine all day again. Ah, my beautiful city sunsets, how I missed thee.

Hurray, I finally finished the Sound Horizon moodtheme! Kyaaaa~ There are some that I still kind of want to change maybe (still waiting on the encore performances, ugh, Rapidshare), but I was too excited to wait. XD

Um, yes. So, what's been going on? Well, there's the crazy weather - alternating hot sunshine and cold downpours all over the place along with the ever impending threat of a storm despite it being "summer" (oh, global warming, how you screw us over).

Classes are picking up a bit, at least requirement-wise, due to it nearing the end of summer classes and the start of the new semester. No rest for the oppressed haha I mean-

Pre-enlistment started today. I'm really hoping for better results this sem after the torture that was sophomore year. No chances at PE, though. Totally sucks, man, all those freshmen nabbed all the slots like cockroaches on Chocnut crumbs.

My future schedule is kind of depressing. Thankfully, not any immediate need for a GE, but my advising form recommends that I get two 5-unit major subjects, one 4-unit should not be a major, one 3-unit major, and ... maybe one GE. I'm only allowed to go up to 19 units, though, but ugh, I can already feel the impending headache.

Or perhaps that's due to the weather. Hm ...

A-and I finally received the results for something I've been waiting for a while. I was kind of expecting bad news, anyway, but it was still a bit of a letdown. Not as much as it would have, though, if it had arrived much earlier. Much too late for optimally effective reinforcement or punishment. 8D

Ah, well, nothing to do but keep moving forward. And occasionally lulz along the way.

Soooo, what's been happening the past few days? Well, Daddy arrived from Hong Kong for a week-long vacation in his hometown, summer classes are still lulzy (EL 50 classes are canceled for the rest of the week for a reading break, while we have a report on hair in children's storybooks for Art Stud 1 in a couple of days), and Manny Pacquiao beat Ricky Hatton in the second round. OH YEAH.

Admittedly, I have a soft spot for Manny Pacquiao. I remember his first major victory - he went on parade the day of our JS Prom during my third year. It just so happened that the route we took went by GMA, and it just so happened that we got caught up in his parade on the way there. We saw him pass by on the float, and we rolled down the windows and shouted, "MANNY!!!"

He looked over, smiled for our camera, and didn't look away until we had finished taking the shot, even though the float had moved quite a distance. That was really nice of him.

And now he has, like, six world titles, lol. And millions of pesos. And crime rates really do go down whenever he has a fight. XD

Hm, what else. Ah, working on a Sound Horizon moodtheme, yay~! I'm at least 85% done. Just waiting on Disc 2 of the Moira Concert (ahuhuhu my concert extras). Rapidshare is such a pain. x_x

I do hope that they'll release footage of the latest concert tours. The fan concert reports are such teasers, hruu. Even if it means more weeks of waiting for a ripped copy, another GB of hard disk space and more yelling at Rapidshare. My Revo/YUUKI fanservice plox
